Corné has a diverse International background in Art & Design, that has taken her across the globe, from her native South Africa to Washington DC and London. Originally, intending only a brief visit to the UK in the 1990’s, she ultimately made it her permanent home, settling in the beautiful Cotswolds.

With decades of experience in the creative industry, Corné specialises in Luxury Residential Interior Design. Her portfolio includes the Design & Project Management of high-value residential refurbishments, executed according to the RIBA Plan of Work, from Concept to Completion.

Her guiding design philosophy centres on empowering her clients to realise their dream homes. As a designer, she works closely with them, gently shaping their vision into bespoke, luxurious spaces that are both timeless and perfectly tailored to their way of living.

She is known for pushing creative boundaries and collaborating with exceptional craftspeople to bring her unique design vision to fruition with unparalleled quality.

Furniture Designer & Cabinetmaker

At just 11 years old, Owen was introduced to Cabinetmaking at Rendcomb College in Gloucestershire and later studied Furniture & Design Technology, sparking a passion, later rekindled after a fascinating sojourn into the world of sound.

He honed his creative ear as a sound engineer and record producer, working in iconic studios like Virgin Townhouse and Paisley Park. In 1990, he returned to his roots, founding Owen Davies Designs in London and eventually establishing his dream workshop in The Cotswolds.

Today, he leads a team dedicated to the Artistry of Fine Cabinetmaking, creating bespoke pieces ranging from individual furniture commissions, bespoke kitchens for private residential clients to comprehensive Joinery packages for interior designers, architects and contractors.

Owen’s meticulous attention to detail, deep connection to natural materials and respect for discerning clients and professionals, are the driving forces behind his work.
